An HVAC service-area page that lists cities you actually drive.
A service area is a list of places a truck will go this week. It is not a 50-mile circle you drew in a plugin, and it is not a page of cities you hope to rank in. We do not paste a fake radius. If you do not drive there, do not name it.
Cities, not a circle
Homeowners search a city name. A blob that says “serving the greater metro and surrounding areas” does not tell them if you will show up. Write the towns you actually take calls in. If that is four towns, list four. If you added a fifth last year and never went, take it off.
A map plugin with a radius you typed in — 25 miles, 40 miles, “anywhere in the county” — is a drawing, not a schedule. Google is not fooled by fifty city links to empty pages. We will not build that door for you.
Where the list belongs on the five pages
- Homepage: the city on the Google listing, plus the towns you actually drive, in a short sentence. Not a 40-city footer.
- Services: same list, or “see Contact.” Do not invent a service you only offer in one suburb unless that is true.
- Contact: the street address that matches the listing, then the towns. Footer NAP stays one name, one address, one phone.
- A separate “service area” page is optional. $497 pastes five pages: Homepage, Services, About, Contact, Financing. A sixth page of towns is on you after handoff, or you put the towns on Contact.
- Do not make one thin page per suburb you do not serve. That is a fake directory. This site’s city pages are for shop owners buying the paste — not a list of contractors, and not your coverage map.
NAP still wins over a radius
The listing is pinned to one address. The site should use that same name, address, and phone. A service-area sentence does not replace NAP. If the homepage screams a city you do not have on Google, pick the truth and change the other. We match footer NAP from your intake and the GBP URL. We do not log into Google. We do not “expand your service area” as a ranking trick.
What we will not write
- A radius, a heat map, or “we cover the whole state.”
- City pages for towns you do not drive, for the purpose of ranking. We do not promise rankings.
- A contractor directory. This page is for owners writing their own coverage sentence.
- A claim that listing more cities will fill the calendar. Booked This Week is the company name, not a result we claim for yours.
