Common HVAC homepage mistakes (and what to put instead).
A heating and air homepage fails when a homeowner cannot tell who you are, where you work, or how to reach you in the first screen. This is a list of patterns that waste that screen — not a sales letter, and not a promise that fixing them will rank you or fill the phone.
Mistakes that hide the shop
- A slogan about “comfort solutions” with no city and no phone above the fold.
- A full-width slider that pushes the number and form below the fold on a phone.
- Stock photos of a van that is not yours, or a handshake that never happened at your shop.
- Five competing headlines and buttons. One clear shop name, one phone, one form is enough.
- Auto-play video with sound. Most homeowners are on a job site or a kitchen with the sound off — and annoyed.
Mistakes that lie about the work
- Listing every HVAC service in the county when you only run AC repair and maintenance.
- “Serving 40 cities” when you drive four towns. Thin city pages you will not maintain are the same problem.
- 24/7 badges when the line goes to voicemail at noon.
- Financing banners with APR you do not offer.
- Review widgets that pull stars from a different business name than the Google listing.
What belongs on the first screen instead
Who you are, the city on your Google listing, the services you actually run, a click-to-call number that matches that listing, and a form that emails the shop. Photos you own. No manifesto. No “we get you on page one.”
We paste that shape onto Hostinger WordPress for $497 after a complete intake. The $197 kit is the same copy as files. We do not invent a homepage that promises leads or rankings.
What this page is not
- Not a redesign package or a custom agency homepage.
- Not ads. We do not run ads.
- Not a claim that removing a slider will move the map pack.
- Not a contractor directory. This is for shop owners fixing their own site.
DIY $138 with KIT30. DFY $497.
Questions before buying: use the seller chat on the Whop listing. No income, lead, or ranking claims. Refunds follow checkout terms.
