HVAC website photos you own — not a stock van.
Five photos you own are part of the $497 intake for a reason. We do not pull a white van from a stock site and put your logo on it. If the truck in the picture is not yours, do not publish it. The $197 kit does not ship photos. You use yours.
Why a stock van is a problem
A homeowner who already knows your truck will notice a different one on the homepage. A homeowner who does not know you still sees a generic fleet that could belong to anyone. Either way the page is lying about the shop. Stock of a handshake, a thermostat close-up from a catalog, or a warehouse that is not yours is the same issue.
We will not source that for you. DFY pastes the five photos you send. If you send stock, we will ask for replacements. The 72-hour clock does not run while we wait on real pictures.
What “five photos you own” actually means
- Your truck or van, from the side or the yard, with your lettering if it has it. Phone photos are fine. Do not clone a competitor’s wrap.
- The shop, if you have one a customer can visit — the door, the counter, the lot. Skip a rented studio.
- The owner or a tech in your shirt, not a model. Faces are optional if you do not want them on the internet; a truck still proves a shop.
- A job you actually finished: outdoor unit, furnace closet, thermostat on a wall you left. Blur the house number if you need to. Do not use a manufacturer cutaway you do not have rights to.
- The logo as a file you own, not a screenshot of someone else’s mark.
What we do with them
$497: we place those five on Homepage, About, and Services as the paste allows. We do not retouch a dent out of the van. We do not generate a fake crew. We do not upload them to your Google Business Profile — that listing is yours, and we do not post.
$197 kit: INSTALL.md says to drop in your own images. The files we ship are copy, not a photo pack. Do not leave the placeholder image from a theme. Do not download “HVAC van” from a free stock dump and call it yours.
Rights, customers, and what we will not do
- If a customer’s house is in the frame, that is your call with that customer. We do not get photo releases for you.
- Manufacturer catalogs and other shops’ Instagram are not yours. Do not send them.
- We do not run ads, so we are not building an ad creative library. These photos are for the five pages on your WordPress.
- Photos do not make the phone ring. They make the page true. We do not promise rankings or jobs from a truck picture.
