License and insurance on an HVAC website — badges only if they are true.

Homeowners look for license and insurance on About and Contact. Put the real numbers and carriers you hold. Fake “fully bonded” badges and seal generators do not belong. This is honest trust copy, not a ranking or lead promise.

What to put on the page

  • State contractor license number if you have one — and the name that matches the license.
  • Insurance line in plain words: general liability, workers’ comp if that applies — only what is current.
  • Optional: city or county registration numbers if your market requires them and they are active.
  • A photo of the license card is optional; a clear sentence often reads better on mobile.

Where it fits on the five pages

About is the natural home for license and insurance. Contact can repeat the license number next to NAP. Homepage can carry one short trust line if it is true — not a wall of fake seals.

Google Business Profile attributes for licensed/insured are edited by you in Google. We do not log into your listing on either SKU.

What we will not paste

  • Invented license numbers or expired credentials.
  • Stock “BBB A+” or manufacturer “elite dealer” badges you do not hold.
  • Claims that a badge will get you map-pack placement or more calls.
  • A directory listing for your shop — this site sells page kits, not contractor leads.

How the two SKUs handle it

On $497, license and insurance lines come from your intake and go on About (and Contact if you provide them). On $197, placeholders in the kit files are yours to fill — leave them blank rather than invent a number. We do not verify licenses with the state for you.

DIY $138 with KIT30. DFY $497.
