Before-and-after photos on an HVAC website without fake stock.
A before-and-after pair can show a real outdoor unit swap or a clean furnace closet — if both frames are yours and the customer is okay with it. Stock “after” shots and competitor vans do not belong. This is photo guidance for shop owners, not a ranking claim.
What a honest pair looks like
Same angle when you can: the old unit, then the new unit, or the dusty closet then the finished install. Phone photos are fine. Blur house numbers and family photos on the fridge if you need to.
Caption in plain words: what you did, the city if you want, not “another 5-star transformation.” Do not paste a manufacturer catalog cutaway and call it your job.
Rights and customer consent
- If the house is recognizable, that is your conversation with that customer. We do not collect photo releases for you.
- Techs in your shirt beat stock models. Faces are optional.
- Do not scrape other shops’ Instagram before/after grids.
- Five photos you own remain part of the $497 intake. Before/after pairs can be among them if they are real.
Where they go on the five pages
Homepage or Services can hold one or two pairs without a separate “gallery product.” $497 pastes Homepage, Services, About, Contact, and Financing — we place the five photos you send. A long gallery page is optional after handoff. $197 kit: INSTALL.md says to use your images; we do not ship a photo pack.
We do not upload before/after shots to your Google Business Profile. Listing photos stay on you.
What this is not
- Not a promise that photos create rankings or job volume.
- Not AI-generated vans or “enhanced” after shots that never happened.
- Not ads creative we run for you. We do not run ads.
- Not a contractor directory. This page is for owners wiring their own site.
